Known for his positive attitude, Gary Moyer has been a fan of Zig Ziglar for decades. After an “on the road conversion” listening to a Zig Ziglar cassette, Gary followed God’s call to enter the gospel ministry. Gary received the “Excellence in Preaching” award while at college and went on to successfully serve as a pastor for 15 years, thoroughly enjoying helping people grow in every area of life, incorporating the biblically based teachings of Zig Ziglar, who he came to know personally. Gary’s first wife, Laurie, succumbed to Cystic Fibrosis in 1996. Gary later married Lisa Nickless, his soul mate, and has two “super” boys, Michael and Andrew.

 

Gary’s formal education includes an A.A.S. in Business, a B.A. in Religion, and a Masters in Divinity degree. In November of 2013, Gary realized his goal of becoming one of the first Ziglar Legacy Certified trainers ever given this stamp of approval from the Ziglar family. Convinced that “everybody needs some PLC” – positive life changes, Gary now carries forward Zig Ziglar’s legacy through powerful, character-based keynotes and workshops that help business, churches, organizations and individuals be the very best they can be. Gary has spoken to groups as small as 6 or 7 all the way up to crowds of over 1500, and is willing to help your team be the very best they can be!
